Incorporating a sophisticated PIR (Passive Infa Red) detection system, which will constantlt monitor a fan shaped area up to a distance of around 12 metres. The protected area is over 120 square metres. The unit detects animals moving into the area and triggers a burst of continuously variable ultrasound to repel them. Powered by two 9v batteries (not included), the PIR detection system allows the unit to remain on standby when not operating to maximise battery life.
